Are gift cards digital only?

Yes. When a customer purchases a First Light Syracuse Goods™ Digital Gift Card, they will receive an email that contains a digital gift card with a unique code that they can use at firstlightsyr.com during checkout to redeem its value. None of the gift cards sold at firstlightsyr.com are physical gift cards.

 

What do I do if I've misplaced or never received my gift card?

Customers can click “Resend gift cards” from their order confirmation email. This link will only work if the order has been fulfilled.

 

Can I buy gift cards for someone else?

Yes. On the gift card product page, below the denominations and quantity buttons, customers can check the box next to “I want to send this as a gift” to fill out the recipient’s email, name, and a brief message. Customers may also schedule a date to send the gift card to their intended recipient.

 

How do I check my gift card balance?

Customers can check their balance by referring to their gift card order confirmation email and tapping the “View gift card balance” link. Customers can also reach out to First Light Syracuse Goods™ at shop@firstlightsyr.com for their gift card balance.

 

Do gift cards expire?

No. First Light Syracuse Goods™ Digital Gift Cards don't have expiration dates.

 

Can a gift card be used more than once?

Yes. Customers may use a gift card more than once, provided there is still a balance remaining on the card.

 

Can more than one gift card be used towards a purchase?

Yes. More than one gift card can be used towards a purchase by redeeming another gift card during checkout.

 

Can a gift card be used to buy a gift card?

No. A gift card cannot be used to buy another gift card.

 

Can a gift card be used to pay for shipping and taxes?

Yes. Gift cards are applied to the final order total, which includes shipping and taxes.

 

Can gift cards be used in conjunction with a discount code?

Yes. Gift cards can be used in conjunction with discount codes.

 

Can a customer pay for an order that includes a subscription with a gift card?

Yes. Gift cards can be used to pay for an order that includes a subscription; however, they cannot be used to pay for recurring subscriptions.

 

Do refunds apply to gift cards?

Yes. In the event that a customer made a purchase with a gift card and their case was approved for a refund, the funds are able to be applied to their gift card.
